Services

Tessa has a keen interest in all areas of paediatrics but she has a particular interest in selective or ‘fussy’ eaters, diabetes, epilepsy, and faltering growth. Go to the bookings and enquiries page to enquire.

Seeing a sports dietitian as a light-weight rower in high school was what sparked Tessa’s passion to become a dietitian. Tessa enjoys helping people to improve their performance through optimising nutrition and also enjoys applying these principles into her own sports. Areas Tessa can help you with include nutrition for endurance sports events, nutrition to optimise performance, increasing muscle mass, and weight loss to make competition weight. With her wide range of clinical experience, Tessa also loves helping athletes with medical issues such as diabetes to reach their sporting goals despite their diagnosis. Tessa is ISAK certified in body composition measurements i.e. skin folds and is a member of Sport Dietitians Australia. Go to the bookings and enquiries page to enquire.

Tessa uses medical ketogenic diet therapies in both children and adults to treat drug-resistant epilepsy. There is also exciting research emerging for the use of ketogenic diet therapies for a range of other conditions such as type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, and neurological conditions such as dementia and Parkinson’s disease. Tessa will discuss thoroughly with your primary medical team prior to using ketogenic diet therapies to ensure it is the right treatment for you or your child. Go to the bookings and enquiries page to enquire.
